At lunch we met Davide Ghezzi, who is the founder and CEO at Zego (zegoapp.com) the innovative car-pooling service growing rapidly in major Italian cities. Zego got an unexpected boost when Uber was banned recently from operating in Italy, and Zego however complies with all car-pooling rules and regulations. So far Zego has seen its fastest growth in Torino, and Milan is now growing rapidly too. We love to see home-grown innovation and startup talent making waves and showing how it can be done in Italy.
